List the rings from top to bottom then from left to right (top left leg / bottom left leg // top right leg / bottom right leg).
Separate the rings by a _ if the bird wears rings on the tarsus (= at the bottom of the leg)

- for the rings equipped with a flag, the color must be followed by a tiny f as "flag" (for example Of for an orange ring with a flag)
- for engraved rings, write the code engraved on the ring in square brackets, just after the color of the ring, for example W [FR] for a white ring (W) engraved FR, or Gf [H99] for a green ring with flag engraved H99
- For special rings such as long dotted rings write the color of the ring, followed by a lowercase d (for "dots") then the color of the dots. For example a white ring with black dots will be noted WdN. (White dots Niger)
